This is my friend Evan. I went to college with him but he just graduated, so he won't be back next year. He is headed to Alaska with my other friend Jeff to do a fishing job for the summer. He had his layover in Seattle today so I got to spend the afternoon with him. He is a dear friend of mine, and I'm going to miss him so much!!

Minimalism.

The more you read about minimalism, the more the whole concept starts to sound pretty spiritual. It’s about having less and enjoying the things you have more—it’s about cutting through the excess to discover what is essential.

Six Ways To Make People Like You.

In my opinion, a lot of success in life comes purely from people liking you. Sure, talent and education play into success as well, but I feel like it really comes down to being liked. When people like you they give you things, like JOBS and if they continue liking you then they give you things like raises and promotions.

I grew up learning these techniques but I just came across this list on the internet. These techniques have helped me in things from landing every job I have interviewed for to getting free meals/things in many circumstances, and basically getting whatever I want most of the time. It works, seriously.

1. Become genuinely interested in other people.
2. Smile.
3. Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.
4. Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
5. Talk in terms of the other person’s interests.
6. Make the other person feel important, and sincerely.

I painted my nails with the inspiration of Tiffany and co. I got China Glaze's "For Audrey" nailpolish, and then painted a white french tip over it. Love it :)

Bubble Tea

I drank this delicious POG (passion orange guava) bubble tea yesterday. If you live in the Seattle area you have to go to Wow Bubble Tea. It is located on the ave (University District) and it is the best.

I'm Back.

Hello! I know, it's been a while, and I'm sorry. As a posted (a long time ago) I began using Tumblr as my main blog, which is true, and I am still using it. But I figured that maybe I'll start using my blogger more often as well. I'll use the two blogs for different things.

I have too much to catch this blog up on, it would take forever, so I'll just start from scratch. This summer is finally beginning to really start as UW is getting out of school and I'll hopefully begin to have a social life! I am working two jobs, one as an intern at Artitudes Design, which is a full service graphic design company located in the Seattle area, and the second is back at Gina Mary Hair Design.
